It is a very powerful monologue that intimately portrays a private descent into the victimization of abuse at the hands of perhaps the one person who should be least likely to cause you harm. Therefore, if you are someone who is either currently being abused or are fresh out of an abusive relationship, you may want to keep this in your mind as you watch. I consider myself to be in a relatively positive state of mind despite being two months out, and there were a few things that were mild triggers for me.
